We are seeking a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented Network & Data Communication Specialist to ensure that all network hardware, software, and communication links are operating securely, reliably, and at optimal performance. You will play a critical role in ensuring that every design, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's computer network infrastructure aligns with the company's strategic goals.
Roles & Responsibility :
Architecting solutions: Assessing organizational requirements to design network architectures, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), wireless LANs (WLANs), and cloud-based networks.
System configuration: Installing and configuring network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers. This includes creating internet domains and configuring other network-related equipment.
Deploying software: Installing, configuring, and updating network software and operating systems to support communication needs.
Performance monitoring: Continuously monitoring network performance to detect and resolve issues proactively, ensuring optimal uptime and efficiency.
Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving network and data communication problems for both hardware and software. This can involve isolating faults and performing repairs or coordinating with vendors for more complex issues.
User support: Providing technical assistance and training to end-users on network-related issues, such as connectivity problems, security protocols, and software usage.
Firewall management: Implementing and managing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems to protect the network from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
Access control: Managing user access and permissions to regulate who can access certain files and systems.
Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of network configurations, layouts, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference and compliance. This also includes documenting incidents, repairs, and updates.
Team collaboration: Working with other IT professionals, such as system administrators, developers, and security teams, to ensure network infrastructure aligns with business objectives and project requirements.
Communication with stakeholders: Articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and acting as a liaison between IT and other departments.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
3 years of experience as an IT Network Specialist or a similar role.
Strong analytical thinking in identifying root causes and solving problems systematically.
Experience providing first-level support for system/user inquiries or issues.
Good understanding of technology and configuration of SDWAN, VPN, Firewall, Switch, Router, Access point and other networking technology (Mainly from Cisco, Fortinet, Ruijie, Ruckus).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to bridge expert and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Cisco, Fortinet, Ruijie, Ruckus, or similar tools from other Brands.
Ability to configure Network Connectivity and Internet.
Understanding of APIs, microservices, and basic technical concepts.
Relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+, Cisco, etc.).
