Procurement Manager

  1. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

    • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for raw materials including soybean meal, fish meal, and other critical inputs.

    • Identify, evaluate, and qualify reliable suppliers locally and overseas.

    • Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms to ensure competitive advantage and security of supply.

  2. Supplier Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, consistency, and reliability.

    • Conduct supplier performance reviews and audits to ensure compliance with company standards.

    • Explore and develop alternative sources of supply to mitigate risks.

  3. Cost & Risk Management

    • Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supply risks to provide insights and recommendations to management.

    • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

    • Manage procurement risks by diversifying sources and maintaining contingency plans.

  4. Operational Excellence

    • Establish and streamline procurement processes, policies, and procedures.

    • Ensure timely availability of raw materials to support uninterrupted production.

    • Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Quality Assurance teams to meet technical and quality requirements.

  5. Leadership & Reporting

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a procurement team to achieve departmental goals.

    • Provide regular procurement reports, market analysis, and forecasts to senior management.

    • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and sustainability standards in all procurement activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.

  2. Minimum 7-10 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in aqua feed, animal feed, or food manufacturing industry.

  3. Proven track record in sourcing and purchasing key raw materials such as soybean meal, fish meal, and other feed ingredients.

  4. Strong knowledge of local and global raw material markets, import/export regulations, and supply chain practices.

  5. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  6. Ability to set up and manage strategic sourcing processes and procurement systems.

  7. Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.

  8. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams.

  9. Fluent in English is a must.
