Product Owner - HRIS

Role Overview:We are looking for a Product Owner - HRIS to lead the vision, development, and continuous improvement of our Human Resource Information System. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape a user-centric product that supports the entire employee lifecycle—from recruitment to offboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Define the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for our HRIS
Translate business needs into detailed product requirements and user stories
Prioritize the product backlog based on user impact, technical feasibility, and business value
Collaborate with developers, UX designers, QA, and internal stakeholders
Continuously gather and evaluate feedback from HR teams, end-users, and clients
Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, product demos, and retrospectives
Ensure that the product meets both functional and compliance requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in HRIS, ERP, or SaaS products
Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Experience in Agile/Scrum product development environments
Ability to create clear documentation: product specs, wireframes, user flows
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Notion, Figma, or Odoo (a plus)
