Project Management Office - Mining & Energy

Were looking for an experienced PMO to drive the execution of multiple strategic and operational projects across the Mining Testing business. This individual contributor role will serve as the central node of integration across diverse functions-engineering, operations, supply chain, commercial, and compliance-to ensure seamless coordination, timely delivery, and successful project completions.

Description

As a PMO, your main responsibilities will include:

• Lead and monitor the execution of concurrent projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Act as the central liaison among departments to align project goals, resources, and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, dashboards, and reports for executive stakeholders.
• Identify and address bottlenecks, risks, and resource constraints proactively.
• Facilitate regular project review meetings and steering committees.
• Champion process improvements, standardization, and documentation within the PMO framework.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance requirements.
• Support strategic initiatives in collaboration with the Country Leader.
• Engage with department heads, technical leads, clients, and third-party vendors to enable smooth collaboration.
• Communicate consistently across all levels of the organization to ensure clarity on objectives, progress, and expectations.
• Build trust and influence decision-making even without formal authority.

Profile

A successful PMO should have:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, ideally within mining, energy, or industrial sectors.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and stakeholder networks.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Comfortable working independently while navigating matrixed environments.
