In line with our increasing business, AFRY is looking for aProject Manager, Thermal Powerfor our gas, LNG and hydrogen-fired power plant projects, biomass power projects, waste to energy projects, various hybrid power plant projects as well as carbon capture installations.

We are looking for a person with minimum of 10 years work experience from power utilities, independent power producers, equipment suppliers, consultancy or engineering companies.Job Description

• Preparation and management of power plant conceptual design studies, feasibility studies, lenders engineer and independent engineer projects, and technical due diligence assessments for acquisition of power plants
• Management of EPC tendering projects, negotiations with EPC contractors, IPP bidding projects, PPA negotiations and power project development in general
• Management of various other technical consulting assignments
• Preparation of reports for the clients as required and coordinating the internal report preparation process
• Possibly to expand role to include business development, proposal preparation and consulting contract negotiation etc.
• Possibility to expand role to include Owner's engineer construction project management roles

Much of the work involves writing reports in English language, so excellent English language skill is a must. The job includes occasional trips to other SE-Asian countries, so willingness to travel on short-term assignments is expected.Qualifications

• Higher professional degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, energy economics, or other field relevant for power sector projects (M.Sc. or B.Sc.).
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience from power sector.
• Fluent in English; Bahasa Indonesia is a plus but not a requirement
• Good skills in report writing.
• Good skills in Microsoft Word and Excel computer programs.
