QA Engineer (Automation)

We are seeking a passionate QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our insurance tech platforms. You will focus on automated and integration testing to guarantee stable, scalable, and high-performing systems. Collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams, youll lead test planning, execution, and automation across multiple services and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze documentation, specifications, and understand business requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare comprehensive test cases.

• Execute test cases on multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and APIs.

• Design, develop, maintain, and extend automation scripts using various frameworks and programming languages.

• Communicate closely with developers to locate and resolve bugs efficiently.

• Utilize tools like Postman, JMeter, Selenium, or similar for testing.

• Familiarity with Jira, Git, and CI/CD pipelines to manage and track testing workflows.

• Monitor test case coverage, execution discipline, and ensure adherence to SLA.

• Measure and track production bugs to identify areas missed during testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in automation and integration testing.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, defect tracking, and test case design.

• Skilled in tools like Postman, JMeter, Selenium, or similar.

• Experience testing across web, API, and backend systems.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture, message queues, and performance testing tools.

• Exposure to platforms like Metasphere is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a bonus.
