About the role
PT Wastec International is seeking a dedicated HSE Officer to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety and environmental compliance of our operations, playing a critical part in our commitment to maintaining the highest industry standards.
What you'll be doing
Developing, implementing and continuously improving health, safety and environmental management systems to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Conducting risk assessments, audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards
Providing training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and environmental protection
Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Monitoring and reporting on key health, safety and environmental performance indicators
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed a culture of safety and sustainability
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and regulations
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management or a related field
Thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
