Sales Engineer
The Sales Engineer is responsible for combining technical expertise with sales skills to provide solutions that meet customer needs. This role involves understanding client requirements, presenting suitable products or services, and ensuring successful implementation in collaboration with the technical team. The Sales Engineer serves as a key link between the companys engineering capabilities and customer requirements, driving sales and building strong, long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:Identify, develop, and manage sales opportunities in target markets
Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable solutions
Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical consultations
Collaborate with engineering teams to customize solutions as per client needs
Prepare proposals, quotations, and technical documentation
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with customers
Maintain relationships with existing clients while seeking new opportunities
Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
Provide feedback to product development teams for continuous improvement
Achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in PLTS Industry
Strong technical knowledge relevant to the companys products or services
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them to non-technical audiences
Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team
Willing to travel for client visits, exhibitions, and industry events
Good command of Bahasa Indonesia and English
