About the role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Senior Accounting & Finance Assistant to join our finance team at PT Datang Dssp Power Indonesia in Central Jakarta. This full-time role is essential in supporting our growing business and ensuring all financial activities are accurately recorded and reported.
What you'll be doing
Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Reconcile bank accounts and other general ledger accounts on a regular basis
Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
Liaise with banks for daily transactions, account administration, and financial documentation.
Coordinate with banks to prepare and submit necessary data, letters, and compliance documents.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., procurement, HR, operations) to gather financial information and resolve payment or documentation issues.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations and corporate finance requirements.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance assistant role
Strong proficiency in financial software, such as SAP systems and spreadsheet applications
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Having banking or treasury experience will be a plus.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Indonesian accounting standards and regulations
Proficient in English both literal and oral.
