Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in overseeing the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting in-depth analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while also contributing to team success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards

  • Assist in the preparation of management reports, budget vs. actual analysis, and financial performance summaries.

• General Ledger Management:

  • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly classified.

  • Perform complex account reconciliations for various balance sheet and income statement accounts.

  • Oversee and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes efficiently and accurately.

• Analysis & Compliance:

  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.

  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (e.g., PPh, PPN) and assist with tax calculations and submissions.

  • Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

• Accounts Receivable/Payable Oversight:

  • May oversee or assist with more complex aspects of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

• Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement opportunities for improving accounting processes, controls, and efficiency.

  • Assist in the development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures.

• Mentorship (Optional, if applicable):

  • May provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 1 years in a Senior Accountant role.

• Proven experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.

• Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zahir, Accurate, SAP, Oracle, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).

• Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in Bahasa Indonesia and English

• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
