About the Client: Our client is a leading multinational financial institution with one of its largest technology centers based in Singapore. The firm supports global capital market operations and is looking for an experienced Java Developer to join their Market Data Integration team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with business analysts and technical leads to clarify requirements and propose solutions
• Support application releases and participate in change management processes
• Provide L3 production support and resolve system issues promptly
• Improve observability and performance monitoring of systems
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives
• Document solutions and ensure code quality via unit and integration testing

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of backend development experience
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, RESTful APIs, and Git
• Strong understanding of OOP principles and design patterns (e.g., SOLID)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Linux shell scripting, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services is a strong plus
• Experience with monitoring tools such as ElasticSearch and OpenTelemetry preferred
• Exposure to financial markets or market data systems is advantageous
• Willingness to provide Level 3 support when needed
