Sr. Asset Management Officer

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree (S1/D4) in Asset Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in asset management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end asset management processes, including acquisition, tracking, auditing, maintenance, and disposal.
• Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and develop strategies for asset optimization and lifecycle planning.
• Proficiency in Asset Management Software, ERP systems, or other digital tracking tools, along with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Experience in cross-departmental collaboration, especially with Finance, Tax, Procurement, and Operations teams, to ensure accurate asset tracking and compliance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to develop asset policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior team members.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to risk mitigation in asset management.

Job Description:

• Oversee and manage the entire asset lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
• Develop and maintain an accurate and up-to-date asset database, ensuring real-time tracking and record accuracy.
• Conduct periodic physical audits and reconciliations to verify asset conditions and locations.
• Establish and implement asset management policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for better governance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, and Operations teams to ensure correct asset valuation, depreciation, and budget planning.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks related to asset loss, misuse, or inefficient allocation.
• Generate comprehensive asset reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) with key insights and recommendations for management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements related to asset management.
• Lead asset disposal processes following company policies and regulatory standards.
• Train and mentor junior team members on best practices in asset management.
