About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mining Engineer to join our dedicated team at Group PT Atlas Resources Tbk'. In this full-time position based in South Sumatra, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising the mining operations at Engineering Department.
What you'll be doing
Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day mining operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and process optimisation
Analyse and interpret resource and production data to inform mining plans and strategies
Ensure compliance with relevant mining regulations, industry standards, and company policies
Develop and implement innovative mining techniques and technologies to enhance productivity and safety
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges
Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate mining performance and recommendations
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in mining engineering
Proven expertise in mine planning, design, and project management
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Proficient in the use of mining software and technologies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Thorough understanding of mining regulations, safety protocols, and environmental best practices
