About Us:

Kitar is a fast-growing tech company specialising in second-hand mobile phone recycling and selling. We are on a mission to promote sustainable consumption by extending product lifecycles and reducing carbon emissions.

We are currently looking for passionate Store Management Trainee Intern to join us, who will play a key role in delivering great in-store experiences and supporting our efforts in mobile phone recycling. You will learn the ins and outs of store operations while helping customers and contributing to a more sustainable future.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Represent Kitar and help customers understand our brand and services.

  • Assist in providing mobile phone recycling consultations and basic quality checks.

  • Support door-to-door recycling services alongside senior team members.

  • Help respond to customer service and after-sales inquiries.

  • Contribute to maintaining positive customer relationships through friendly and professional engagement.

Work Environment:

  • Work in Kitar stores.

  • For door-to-door services, you will need to visit the customers preferred location (i.e residential address, office etc).

  • Required to wear uniforms.

  • Equipped with professional quality inspection tools.

Requirements:

  • Final year students who is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree or fresh graduates with a maximum of 1 year experience.

  • A minimum GPA (or IPK) of 3.20.

  • Available for a full-time 6-month paid internship.

  • Proficient verbal and written English skills.

  • Passionate about mobile phone gadgets and the industry.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
