Web Programmer

We are a Singapore-based company, that specializes in B2B e-commerce of products related to Electrical, Control, Safety, and Lighting.

We are currently looking for a skilled E-commerce Programmer to join our team, remote working from home at least 2 times a week.

As an E-commerce Programmer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our e-commerce platform. You will work closely with our developers to create a seamless online shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain e-commerce (Magento / Adobe Commerce) and data analytics platforms.

• Build complex web application and web services using PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CodeIgniter 4, and other scripting/programming languages such as Python and NodeJs for the design and implementation of web application projects.

• Develop efficient, well-structured databases using MySQL.

• You will work closely with our Digital Marketing & Customer Success Team to ensure a seamless integration between our e-commerce platform and marketing efforts. You will collaborate with the digital marketing team to develop effective strategies that drive traffic and increase conversions, while also identifying areas for improvement within our platform to enhance the overall customer experience.

• Collaborate with the team to implement new applications, features and functionality

• Monitor and troubleshoot any issues that arise with the platform

• Stay up-to-date and shares emerging trends or technologies partners in e-commerce with the team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• Minimum proven 5 years' experience with PHP

• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, PHP, CSS, and MySQL

• Good knowledge of CodeIgniter 4 is preferred.

• Experienced in Python and Node.js is considered an advantage.

• Proficiency in API design, integration, development and implementation

• Have good codes following coding standards

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
