World History Tutor

You will be responsible for guiding students through the pivotal periods and events of world history, from ancient civilizations to the modern era. The primary focus is not just on memorizing facts and dates, but on developing critical thinking, source analysis, and strong historical argumentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions, either in-person or online.

Developing customized lesson plans and learning materials tailored to the students needs, learning style, and curriculum.

Explaining complex historical concepts in a clear, simple, and engaging manner.

Assisting students with homework, project preparation, and exam strategies.

Providing constructive feedback to improve student understanding and skills.

Monitoring and reporting on student progress regularly.

Qualifications:

A current final-year university student or a Bachelors degree holder in History, International Relations, Archaeology, or another relevant humanities field.

Demonstrates a deep and comprehensive knowledge of World History.

A significant advantage: Familiarity with international curricula such as IGCSE, IB (History SL/HL), and/or AP World History.

Previous teaching or tutoring experience is highly preferred.

Patient, an excellent communicator, and able to build a strong rapport with students.

Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential, especially for handling international curriculum materials.

Availability for a flexible schedule, particularly during afternoons and weekends.
