Accounting Assistant Manager

• Lead the calculation and analysis of Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM) on a regular basis.

• Ensure accurate tracking and allocation of direct materials, direct labor, and factory overhead to production orders.

• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and procurement teams to gather reliable cost inputs.

• Review and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM), standard cost structures, and cost centers in the system.

• Monitor inventory movements across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to support accurate COGM reporting.

• Identify cost discrepancies and perform variance analysis (actual vs. standard or budget).

• Support monthly and year-end closing processes for production-related accounts.

• Prepare internal reports on manufacturing costs and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting within a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on COGM or cost reporting.

Excellent understanding of COGM concepts, inventory valuation, and cost allocation in a factory setting.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Able to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.

Preferable having experience working for Public Accountant
