Apparel Designer

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Apparel Designer to join our growing Outdoor and Activewear team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Design Team in researching and developing seasonal concepts, trends, and innovations for the Outdoor and Activewear categories.
• Ensure product design aligns with market trends and clients unique handwriting.
• Assist in the creation of mood boards, color palettes, range plans, and seasonal presentations.
• Develop flat sketches using Adobe Illustrator for design development and tech packs.
• Collaborate closely with the sampling room to bring design concepts to life.
• Maintain organized records of tech packs, fabrics, trims, and design references.
• Participate in showroom set-up and create engaging Visual Merchandising displays.
• Create compelling PowerPoint presentations, including photography and layout of styles.
• Develop 3D designs using CLO to support client presentations.
• Contribute to the development of original prints and graphics for the collections.
• Archive design samples and manage the design sample library.
• Maintain awareness of client protos, SMS, and bulk orders in collaboration with the merchandising team.
• Attend and assist in internal and client-facing design meetings.
• Adhere to internal design calendars, timelines, and delivery schedules.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Apparel or Fashion Design.
• 3-5 years of experience in apparel design, preferably in Outdoor and Activewear.
• Proven experience designing for US and European markets.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D, and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with AI-assisted design tools is a plus.
• Strong design sensibility with excellent sketching and concept development skills.
• Good understanding of performance fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Effective communicator with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Strong work ethic, accountability, and punctuality.
