Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Smoothies Specialist to join our team at NIBS. As a Smoothies Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing, blending, and serving high-quality smoothies that meet customer preferences and align with our commitment to fresh, nutritious, and delicious offerings. You will combine culinary expertise with excellent customer service to create memorable beverage experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Smoothie Preparation: Craft smoothies using fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy or non-dairy bases, and supplements (e.g., protein powders, superfoods) according to established recipes or customized customer requests.

• Ingredient Management: Select, wash, and prepare ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality. Maintain proper storage to prevent spoilage and adhere to food safety standards.

• Blending Techniques: Operate high-powered blenders and other equipment to achieve consistent textures and flavors, adjusting techniques as needed for optimal results.

• Menu Development: Collaborate with the management team to create innovative smoothie recipes, seasonal specials, and health-focused options that cater to dietary needs (e.g., vegan, gluten-free, low-sugar).

• Customer Service: Engage with customers to take orders, recommend smoothies based on preferences or dietary goals, and provide nutritional information to enhance their experience.

• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients, placing orders as needed to maintain supply while minimizing waste.

• Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations, including proper cleaning of blenders, utensils, and prep areas.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with baristas, kitchen staff, or other team members to ensure smooth operations and consistent service during busy periods.

• Upselling and Promotions: Promote add-ons (e.g., boosters, superfoods) and seasonal specials to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
