Civil Engineer Designer

We are seeking a licensed Civil Engineer Designer to support our architectural projects at 2M Design Lab.

The ideal candidate must hold a valid SKA (Sertifikat Keahlian) and STRI (Surat Tanda Registrasi Insinyur) for professional practice in Indonesia and have expertise in structural analysis, material selection, and construction detailing tailored for tropical modern architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop structural designs and calculations for villas, resorts, and commercial buildings.
  • Ensure all civil engineering designs comply with Indonesian regulations (SNI, PU, and local licensing requirements).
  • Work closely with architects to integrate structural elements into tropical modern designs.
  • Conduct site analysis and soil investigation coordination.
  • Provide structural reinforcement solutions using concrete, steel, and sustainable materials.
  • Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, BOQs, and construction documents.
  • Utilize structural design software (SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit Structural).
  • Experience with BIM is a plus.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensed Civil Engineer in Indonesia with:

✅ SKA Ahli Teknik Struktur (Structural Engineering Expert) certification (issued by LPJK).

✅ STRI (Surat Tanda Registrasi Insinyur) - Engineer Registration Certificate (issued by PII).

✅ IPP/IPM/IPPu (Insinyur Profesional) certification is a plus.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and structural design for modern architectural projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian building codes, seismic requirements, and material specifications.
  • Experience in designing for tropical climates and modern architecture.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, and ETABS.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with designers and contractors.
