Distribution Manager for Industrial MRO

  • Responsibility for achieving the budgeted Distribution Business sales and profit in Indonesia

  • Planning, developing, controlling, guiding and marketing of the range of products with Distributors with the objective of fully taking advantage of the market and profit potential and of strengthening the market position

  • Strategically develop our distribution partners in order to increase Schaefflers shares in both at distributors and end customers

  • Supporting distributors in Indonesia to secure contract from their end customers

  • Organizing and conducting product and technical events together with Marketing and Sales MRO team

  • Ensure availability and utilization of sales-related infrastructure (tools, systems, processes, services, partnerships etc.)

  • Prepare market analysis including SWOT analysis of Schaeffler Sales & Service, and competitors

  • Drive the Partner End-Users Sales program implementation to increase Schaefflers market share in Indonesia

  • Planning, developing, controlling, guiding and marketing of the range of products with Distributors with the objective of fully taking advantage of the market and profit potential and of strengthening the market position

  • Supporting distributors in Indonesia to secure contract from their end customers

  • To support the JSEAP Management with the further development and continuous improvements of the mid and long-term Strategy (Roadmap)

Your Qualification:

  • Minimum 10 years working experiences in Industrial sectors and minimum 5 years experience in distribution or channel management in dealing in industrial parts or components.

  • Qualified engineer (university, university of applied sciences) with a degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent training

  • Industry-specific and customer know-how, sales experience and knowledge of field sales, knowledge of operational procedures and affected persons

  •  SAP knowledge, knowledge of the system landscape, PC-knowledge.

  • Managing complex matters, conflict management, interpersonal skills, self-assurance, negotiating skills, good social deportment, ability to work in team, high level of commitment, sensitivity in dealing with other cultures, result-orientated approach, ability to assert oneself, good rhetorical skills, leadership ability

  • Ability to think outside of the box, creativity and down to earth mentality, comfort with customers.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, presentation skills

  • Experience in working in a matrix organization

  • Knowledge regarding the development of strategies and its implementation including review process

  •  Technical sales or and / or technical sales support experience preferred

  • Good communication in English and local dialects
