Financial Analyst

We are seeking a results-driven and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Banking team. This role is critical in assessing borrower credit quality across all segment, corporate, SME, wholesale, and project finance, by analyzing financial statements, forecasting profitability, and evaluating repayment capacity. The ideal candidate will also support portfolio-level performance reviews, including ROA analysis and credit quality monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform in-depth analysis of borrowers financial statements to assess creditworthiness and identify key financial risks.

· Develop forward-looking projections including profitability forecasts, cash flow analysis, and repayment capacity evaluations.

· Conduct industry and business model assessments to contextualize financial results and inform lending decisions.

· Prepare detailed credit analysis reports and make data-driven recommendations on credit structure, terms, and risk mitigations.

· Collaborate with relationship managers, credit committees, and risk teams on loan structuring and approval processes.

· Build and maintain robust financial models for borrowers and projects, including sensitivity and scenario analyses.

· Conduct ROA analysis and other performance metrics on the loan book to support strategic decision-making.

· Monitor credit exposures, financial covenant compliance, and early warning indicators.

· Stay informed on market trends, regulatory developments, and sector-specific risks impacting borrower credit quality.

Requirements:

· Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; Masters degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, FRM) are preferred.

· 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, financial modeling, or portfolio management in a banking or financial institution.

· Strong proficiency in analyzing financial statements, developing cash flow projections, and evaluating debt service capacity.

· Solid understanding of lending products across corporate, SME, and project finance.

· Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with portfolio analytics tools is a plus.

· Knowledge of risk-adjusted return metrics.

· Excellent communication skills to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
