Front-End Engineer - Photobooth System Development (Startup)
We are a growing startup committed to developing and manufacturing next-generation photobooth systems—from hardware to software. Our mission is to deliver seamless, beautiful, and interactive photobooth experiences through smart design and innovative tech. Were currently building the full ecosystem ourselves and are looking for a Front-End Engineer who can help us bring our interface and user experience to life.
Your Role:As a Front-End Engineer, youll design and implement user-facing interfaces for both the photobooth machine and its companion web/mobile platforms. Youll work closely with our back-end engineers, and designers to ensure smooth, engaging, and responsive user experiences.
Responsibilities:
Develop responsive interfaces for photobooth touchscreens and remote management dashboards.
Work closely with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional, high-quality code.
Integrate front-end components with back-end services and APIs.
Ensure smooth performance across devices and platforms.
Optimize the user interface for speed, scalability, and maintainability.
Help shape design patterns and front-end architecture for long-term product stability.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of front-end development experience.
Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
Familiarity with state management, component-based design, and RESTful APIs.
Comfortable with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Proactive and excited to work in a fast-paced, hands-on startup environment.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Electron, kiosk UI design, or touchscreen optimization.
Familiarity with real-time media display or video/photo integration.
Experience building web apps that interact with hardware or embedded devices.
