About The Role
This role will help the team to strengthen our internal capacity in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting timely, transparent reporting. As our operations expand—including new partnerships, program disbursements, and donation integrations like AmarthaFin—the complexity of our financial transactions increases significantly. A dedicated team member will ensure proper bookkeeping, assist in preparing audited reports, and help implement standardized administrative procedures, all of which are essential to uphold donor trust, comply with financial regulations, and support informed decision-making within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Accurate Financial records: Record and reconcile daily transactions, including donations, disbursements, invoices, and petty cash, ensuring all entries align with accounting standards.
- Assist in Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, budget tracking, and documentation for internal reviews or external audits.
- Handle Administrative Documentation: Manage and organize administrative files such as contracts, memos, receipts, and program-related documents to ensure completeness and compliance.
- Coordinate with Vendors & Partners: Process payments, manage reimbursement claims, and coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and partner institutions for financial or logistical matters.
- Support Internal Compliance & SOP Implementation: Help implement and monitor administrative and financial SOPs to ensure consistency, transparency, and accountability across all units and activities.
Requirements
- 2-3 Years of Relevant Experience
- Proven experience in general administration and financial bookkeeping, preferably in a nonprofit, social enterprise, or service-based organization.
- Educational Background in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Minimum S1 degree, with solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Proficient in Accounting & Office Tools
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and accounting software (e.g., Accurate, Jurnal, or QuickBooks).
- Detail-Oriented and Organized
- Strong attention to detail in managing financial records, filing systems, and administrative procedures.
- Good Communication and Coordination Skills
- Able to work well with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure smooth administrative and financial operations.
