General Manager Sales

Job Description General Manager Sales About the company Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading business solution provider in Indonesia. Privately owned and operated, this company has been a dominant player in providing turnkey IT solutions since its inception on February 16th, 1979. The company encompasses various divisions, including the Retail System Division, IT Development Division, Label and Printing Division, Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) Division, and Imaging Division.

Job Responsibilities

  • Primary Task: Manage all sales activities at the Head Office to achieve targets based on each product and segment.

Detailed Tasks:

  • Create annual/quarterly sales forecasts for the Head Office (based on product and customer segments).
  • Coordinate with other departments to build and maintain the sales team.
  • Motivate the sales team.
  • Maintain good relationships with existing customers to understand their needs and ensure loyalty.
  • Develop new customers to increase market share.
  • Supervise subordinates.
  • Control subordinate signals.
  • Conduct direct sales to specific accounts.
  • Analyze and review the market and competitors.
  • Prepare reports:
    • Sales reports
    • Other reports as requested by superiors
  • Maintain facilities, infrastructure, and the work environment.
  • Keep company confidentiality.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum experience of 5-10 years in a relevant field.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Extensive experience in managing and leading sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of market analysis, competitor analysis, and sales strategy development.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to maintain and develop strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in creating and implementing sales forecasts and plans.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve high performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Responsibility for the development and training of subordinates.
  • Capability to maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work environment.
  • Authorization to set operational technical steps and discounts within the department.
  • Manage and evaluate subordinate performance.
  • Ability to enforce discipline and recommend necessary actions for non-performing team members.
