Import Specialist

Job Descriptions:

  • Responsible for preparing the necessary documentation and legal requirements to set up the import license for the Company.

  • To ensure accuracy and compliance, prepare and review import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, customs declarations, and other required paperwork.

  • Collaborate with freight forwarders and logistics providers to arrange transportation, track shipments, and manage customs clearance processes.

  • Liaise with customs authorities to ensure smooth clearance of imported goods, resolve issues, and address customs inquiries or audits.

  • Coordinate and control the import shipping process by sea and air with internal parties (Sales Team, Operations, Invoice, Finance) and external parties (Customs, Agent, Vendor, Customer, Shipping).

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all import transactions.

Job Requirements:

  • Must possess a Bachelors Degree in International Trade/Import and Export/Supply Chain Management/Management/Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a related field.

  • Understand the local regulations on import permits, requirements, and management.

  • Experienced in handling customs clearance and import reporting (INSW, Inatrade).

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication (English & Bahasa) and interpersonal skills.

  • Willing to be placed in Bali.
