International Purchasing Officer

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Actively communicate with vendors in handling orders from customers.
• Maintain supplier/vendor databases, purchasing records, and related documentation.
• Calculate landed cost for each item ordered.
• Handling the shipment and import clearance from international suppliers to our warehouse properly, safe and ON TIME.
• Review and evaluate purchase requests, evaluate quotation, and ensure follow company policies and procedures.
• Work closely with suppliers/vendors, maintaining positive relationships while negotiating specifications, prices and deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2+ years of experience in sourcing, merchandising, purchasing, or a similar role within the retail industry.
• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Merchandising, or a related field.
• Have experience in handling import and export, experience in purchasing and communicating with international suppliers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with vendors and work on purchase orders.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
• Professional, positive attitude, highly motivated, attention to detail and able to work in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (both Excel & Word) & Google Sheets.
• Must communicate professionally and fluently in English and Indonesian both spoken and written.
• Having passion for retail and luxury products.
