Manager-Communications - Indonesia
Basic Job Description1. Strategic PR drives, work with the business to build and tell stories that appeal to Lazada diverse audiences - consumers, sellers, brands, potential partners and other stakeholders2. Provide PR consult and recommendations to stakeholders in the business3. Collaborate with other functions to align and complement communications efforts (Marketing, social, category/commercial and campaign, business intelligence, customer care, etc.)4. Develop strategic PR plans, including 360º content ideas for storytelling, and drive execution5. Develop templates, messaging, and press materials6. Pitch stories to national and local media7. Create and execute non-campaign national and local PR initiatives, from organic approach, content partnership, to other strategic collaboration 8. Track and report results in timely manner 9. Support on issues management and executive thought leadership
Requirements1. Min 8 years in public relations, with experience include but not limited to reputation PR, consumer/ marketing communications, and integrated communications and social-led PR campaigns2. Preferably to have agency and in-house background. Experience in an eCommerce is a plus point. 3. Experienced in managing a wide range of projects, and been ingrained with a ‘client-centered service mindset4. Good knowledge on Indonesian mainstream and social media landscape, and possesses strong relationships with mainstream corporate and consumer media in Indonesia5. Strong writing skills6. Fluency in English (both written and verbal)7. Creative - comes up with refreshing, fun and executable ideas8. Experienced in driving a wide range of national projects, and navigating through regional-local working relationship in a culturally diverse environment9. Experienced in social media management and event management/organizing10. Social media savvy and able to spot trends, and has good understanding of digital and social media scene in Indonesia11. Able to be resourceful and work independently, with guidance12. Strong skills in collaboration, timely planning and project management 13. Conscientious and tenacious in working with and around challenges; and always with a sense of urgency14. Team player and knows how to build rapport and collaborations with other departments
