The OpportunityReporting to Head Commercial Market Development Asia, this is an exciting opportunity for a talented Market Development professional to join the team , a leading manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment. As the Market Development South East Asia, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and market expansion across the South East Asia region.

Job Purpose

To lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives to expand the market share of commercial refrigeration products (e.g., showcase/display chillers). This role involves identifying key business sectors, managing high-value client accounts, and building long-term growth partnerships across various industries including FMCG, horeca, modern trade, and cold chain distributors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Market Development

o Identify, target, and secure new clients in key segments such convenience stores, beverage company, HORECA etc.

o Develop long-term go-to-market strategies aligned with business objectives.

o Explore partnership opportunities with distributors, OEMs, and project contractors, etc.

2. Key Account Management

o Act as the main point of contact for strategic clients and lead negotiations for large-scale deals or long-term supply agreements.

o Ensure consistent communication, service quality, and after-sales support for key clients.

o Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth product delivery and installation.

3. B2B Sales Enablement & Campaigns

o Design and execute B2B campaigns to promote new products or seasonal offerings.

o Work closely with the sales team to convert leads into accounts through solution-based selling.

o Conduct product presentations, demos, and trade events.

4. Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis

o Analyze market trends, pricing, and competitors to adjust positioning and strategy.

o Provide input for product development and innovation based on client needs and market feedback.

5. Team Collaboration & Leadership

o Provide guidance and mentoring to junior marketing or sales team members.

o Coordinate with internal departments to ensure client satisfaction and marketing alignment.

6. Reporting & Strategic Input

o Prepare monthly marketing reports, including sales pipeline, client feedback, and market opportunities.

o Participate in business planning and budgeting processes with senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or Industrial Engineering. Masters degree is a plus.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in B2B marketing or sales, preferably in refrigeration, commercial appliances, or industrial equipment.

• Strong understanding of industrial/B2B sales cycles and client decision-making processes.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills. (in English and local Indonesia language)

• Ability to work independently and drive projects from concept to execution.

• Willingness to travel for client visits, expos, and business meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with cold chain, retail display equipment, or industrial clients.

• Familiar with CRM platforms, B2B marketing tools, and project-based selling.

• Has existing network in retail, FMCG, or horeca industries.
