About the role
Canggu Community School (Badung) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher Assistant to join our dynamic team in Bali. This full-time role will provide you with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the education and development of our secondary school students. As the Mathematics Teacher Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced Mathematics teacher to deliver engaging and enriching lessons that challenge and inspire our students.
What youll be doing
- Assist the lead Mathematics teacher in planning and delivering engaging, interactive mathematics lessons to secondary school students
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them to develop their mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with the teaching team to create and adapt learning materials and resources that cater to different learning styles and abilities
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher, contributing to the overall assessment and evaluation of student performance
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school-wide activities to contribute to the broader educational community
What were looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, Mathematics or a related field
- Experience working with secondary school students, either in a teaching or tutoring capacity
- Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts and curriculum, with the ability to communicate these effectively to students
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
