Position Overview

As a Purchasing Officer at BIOTA Smart Home, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, components, and services essential for the development and enhancement of our smart home products. Your role will involve evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of quality goods while maintaining cost efficiency. You will work closely with various departments to align purchasing strategies with the companys operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish purchase agreements to ensure the best overall value for the company.
• Manage inventory levels and collaborate with the production team to forecast material requirements.
• Analyze procurement data, monitor market trends, and identify opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and procurement policies.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of ordered products and resolve any supply chain issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data in alignment with company policies.
• Develop and implement strategies for supplier relationship management.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the technology or manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of smart home technology and products is a plus.
