Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

-Prepare detailed project cost estimates and Bill of Quantities (BoQ) based on technical drawings and specifications

-Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets

-Evaluate contractor and subcontractor invoices and progress payments

-Coordinate with the project team to manage variation orders and cost-related documentation

-Assist in tendering processes, contract preparation, and vendor evaluations

-Prepare financial reports and cost forecasts throughout the project lifecycle

-Support claims handling and cost negotiations if necessary

Qualification:

-Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field

-Minimum 1-2 years of experience in construction/project QS roles

-Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Cubicost is a plus)

-Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail

-Familiarity with standard forms of contracts (FIDIC, PPK, etc.)

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills

-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
