KEY RESPONSIBILITY

1. Common Parts Development

• Identify and develop standardized components applicable across multiple MSI vehicle models.

• Collaborate with the Spare Parts Division for planning, procurement, and inventory efficiency.

• Analyze parts lifecycle and propose replacement or upgrade strategies.

 2. Service Process & Manpower Improvement

• Identify opportunities and needs for tool development or process improvement to enhance productivity and minimize non-effective working hours (NEWH)

• Design and implement updated SOPs, technical workflows, and service tools. Together with technical department.

• Support technician upskilling by contributing to technical training materials.

• Drive productivity and safety improvements in daily service operations.

3. Special Vehicle Development

• Support Design and validate custom-built Special vehicles for mining and industrial use.

• Conduct field testing and performance validation in rugged conditions.

• Support Product and Engineering teams to align on technical specifications in field.

 4. Accessory Development

• Conceptualize and develop value-added accessories for MSI products (e.g., Fuel tank guard, Heavy duty filter, brackets for Rig Radio, etc).

• Ensure ease of installation, durability, and user-centric functionality.

• Coordinate with Marketing and Sales for customer-fit enhancements.

 5. Local Parts Development

• Identify high-potential components for local production.

• Partner with Spare Parts and local vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

• Conduct testing and validation before integration into the supply chain.

QUALIFICATION

1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.

2. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in R&D, technical service, or product development roles.

3. Demonstrated analytical and diagnostic skills, particularly in heavy duty and commercial vehicle systems.

4. Knowledge of electric vehicle (EV) systems is an advantage.

5. Experienced in reviewing engineering drawings and developing accurate, standardized documentation. Prior experience in field testing and validation is highly preferred.

6. Possesses a collaborative mindset, with a strong hands-on approach to problem-solving and innovation.
