Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and drive business growth.

  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including buyers, engineers, end-users, EPCs, and Operators.

  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase market share and expand customer base.

  4. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.

  5. Conduct site visits and field surveys to uncover opportunities and better understand customer requirements.

  6. Provide outstanding customer service and support to ensure long-term client satisfaction and retention.

  7. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery, high product quality, and seamless customer experience.

  8. Offer technical support throughout the sales process, assisting the team with product knowledge and application.

  9. Provide ongoing post-sale technical assistance to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction.

  10. Generate and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management for strategic planning.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of a Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.

  2. Willing and capable to work on-site at customer or field locations.

  3. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales, particularly within the oil & gas, petrochemical, power, or mining industries.

  4. Strong technical understanding of the products being sold is essential.

  5. A natural problem solver with sharp analytical thinking, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  6. Consistently meets and exceeds sales targets with a results-driven mindset.

  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software — this is critical for the role.

  8. Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

  9. Self-disciplined and able to follow structured routines to drive personal and professional success.

  10. Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with the ability to deliver presentations confidently.
