Job Brief

As a security officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment and play a crucial role in safeguarding the premises, personnel, and assets of the site you are assigned to.

Key Responsibilities

1) Patrolling and Surveillance:

· Conduct regular patrols to monitor and inspect the premises, identifying any potential security

threats or breaches.

2) Access Control:

· Control access to the premises, verifying the identity of individuals entering or exiting the area.

· Issue visitor passes and maintain a record of authorized personnel.

3) Responding to Emergencies:

· Act quickly and efficiently in case of emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security

breaches.

4) Incident Reporting:

· Document all incidents, accidents, and security breaches in a detailed and accurate manner.

· Prepare incident reports for further investigation and provide them to the appropriate personnel.

 

Job Requirements

Requirements

Security License: Must possess a valid Security Officer License issued by the Police Licensing and Regulatory Department (PLRD).

Physical Fitness: The role may involve standing for extended periods and some physical activities, so candidates should meet the required physical fitness standards.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with visitors, staff, and law enforcement personnel.

Integrity and Trustworthiness: Security Officers are entrusted with protecting valuable assets and maintaining confidentiality; honesty and integrity are critical traits.
