Staff Purchasing

About the role

We are seeking a talented and driven Staff Purchasing to join our team at PT LIMA SRIKANDI JAYA in South Jakarta, Jakarta. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in our Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics business, with a focus on Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory.

What youll be doing

• Manage and execute all purchasing activities for the company, including sourcing, negotiating, and placing orders for materials, goods, and services

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure timely procurement of necessary items

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all purchasing activities

• Continuously monitor and analyse market trends, supplier performance, and pricing to optimise purchasing strategies

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the purchasing function

• Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures

• Provide support and guidance to other team members as needed

What were looking for

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry

• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail

• Proficiency in relevant software and systems, such as ERP, procurement, and inventory management tools

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
