Vice President of Finance and Accounting
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of financial forecasts and models to support the companys long-term strategic planning.
- Analyze market trends and the companys financial data to provide actionable insights for growth and profitability.
- Oversee fund management, including cash flow optimization, investment strategies, and working capital management.
- Implement effective capital allocation strategies to maximize the companys financial performance.
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure efficient financial processes and internal controls are in place to support the companys operations.
- Develop and implement risk management and hedging strategies to minimize financial exposure to market volatility.
- Monitor global market movements to assess and manage currency and interest rate risks.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and stakeholders.
- Lead the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and communications for investors and financial stakeholders.
- Oversee financial audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and successful completion of the annual audit process.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance, with significant experience in financial forecasting, fund management, and finance operations.
- Proven experience working in a group company structure and managing complex financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, risk management, and hedging strategies.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with investors and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems and financial modeling applications.
