Job Title: AVP, Ops Control and Compliance, Operations

Job Responsibilities: 1. Ensure custodian regulatory compliance: The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all regulatory compliance requirements related to custodial services are met. This entails understanding and applying relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines to maintain compliance.

2. Develop and maintain policies & procedures: The role involves creating, updating, and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure they are in line with current regulatory requirements and best practices. This will include documentation and implementation of processes to support compliance efforts.

3. Identify, monitor, and manage compliance risks: The candidate must identify potential compliance risks and implement monitoring systems to manage and mitigate these risks effectively. This includes staying informed about changes in regulations that may impact the organization.

4. Custodian transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting: The role requires monitoring custodian transactions to detect any suspicious activities. The candidate must report such activities to the appropriate authorities and take necessary actions to prevent further issues.

5. Provide training and awareness for new/update regulation to custodian team members: The candidate will be responsible for training team members on new and updated regulations to ensure they are aware of compliance requirements and can perform their duties effectively.

Education and Experience Information: - Bachelors degree in law, finance, or accounting is required. Certifications such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar credentials are beneficial and demonstrate expertise in compliance. - A minimum of 3 years of experience in securities services fund compliance, risk management in a leadership role is preferred.
