Job Title: AVP, Ops Control and Compliance, Operations
Job Responsibilities: - Ensure Custodian regulatory compliance: The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all custodian operations comply with applicable regulations. This includes staying updated with regulatory changes and ensuring the organization adheres to these regulations. - Develop and maintain policies & procedures: The candidate will develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and organizational goals. - Identify, Monitor, and manage compliance risks: The role involves identifying potential compliance risks, monitoring them, and managing them effectively to ensure the organization remains compliant. - Custodian transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting: The candidate will oversee the monitoring of custodian transactions and report any suspicious activities as required by regulations. - Provide training and awareness for new/update regulation to custodian team members: The candidate will conduct training sessions to ensure that team members are aware of new or updated regulations and understand their implications. - Escalate and Report Compliance matters: The candidate will escalate compliance issues to higher authorities when necessary and report on compliance matters regularly. - Liaise with regulator, police, and prosecutor during inspections and inquiries: The candidate will act as the primary liaison with regulators, the police, and prosecutors during inspections and inquiries, ensuring that all interactions are handled professionally and compliantly.
