Job Title: AVP, Ops Control and Compliance, Operations

Job Responsibilities: - Ensure Custodian regulatory compliance: The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all custodian operations adhere to applicable regulatory requirements. This includes staying updated with regulatory changes and implementing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance. - Develop and maintain policies & procedures: The role involves creating and updating policies and procedures to ensure they align with regulatory standards and organizational goals. - Identify, Monitor and manage compliance risks: The candidate must identify potential compliance risks, monitor them actively, and implement measures to mitigate such risks effectively. - Custodian transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting: The role requires overseeing custodian transactions to detect and report any suspicious activities in compliance with regulatory requirements. - Provide training and awareness for new/update regulation to custodian team members: The candidate is responsible for educating and updating the custodian team on new or revised regulations to ensure compliance. - Escalate and Report Compliance matters: The role involves escalating significant compliance issues to appropriate authorities and ensuring timely and accurate reporting. - Liaise with regulator, police, and prosecutor during inspections and inquiries: The candidate will serve as the point of contact for regulatory bodies, law enforcement, and legal entities during inspections and investigations.

Education and Experience Information: - Education: A Bachelors degree in Law, Finance, or Accounting is required. Professional certification in compliance is considered an advantage. - Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in securities services fund compliance, preferably in a leadership role. Experience in risk management, banking, financial services, or regulatory institutions is also preferred.
