Job Title: AVP, Ops Control and Compliance, Operations
Job Responsibilities: - Ensure Custodian regulatory compliance: The role involves ensuring that all custodian operations adhere strictly to regulatory standards and requirements. This includes staying updated with the latest regulations and implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.
- Develop and maintain policies & procedures: The individual will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining policies and procedures related to operations control and compliance. This ensures that all processes are standardized and align with regulatory expectations.
- Identify, monitor, and manage compliance risks: The role requires proactively identifying potential compliance risks within the operations, monitoring these risks, and implementing strategies to manage and mitigate them effectively.
- Custodian transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting: The individual will oversee the monitoring of custodian transactions to detect and report any suspicious activities. This is crucial for preventing fraudulent activities and ensuring the integrity of operations.
- Provide training and awareness for new/update regulation to custodian team members: The role involves educating and training team members on new or updated regulations to ensure that everyone is aware of compliance requirements and can adhere to them.
