B2B Sales Representative - Steel Furniture
Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing exclusively in steel furniture that has been operating for at least a decade. Based in Luoyang, Henan Province, China — the largest steel furniture industrial hub in the country.
For over a decade, they have focused on the Southeast Asian market, building a strong footprint across Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia. In Indonesia specifically, their products are well received by major furniture distributors and dealers who value both the durability and affordability of their offerings.
Their core product lines are divided into two main categories: home furniture — such as steel wardrobes, shoe cabinets, kitchen storage, and utility cabinets — and office furniture, which includes filing cabinets, lockers, security cabinets, and phone storage systems.
Role OverviewThe client builds long-term partnerships through a lean model, employing local representatives under service agreements, with salaries and commissions paid directly from China. This allows greater investment in product competitiveness and sales incentives, giving their country representatives a strong edge with high-quality, best-priced steel furniture backed by a robust supply chain.
As their Indonesia Sales Representative, youll leverage these advantages to develop and manage relationships with furniture distributors, dealers, and wholesalers across major cities, supported by existing leads and local referrals. Your core responsibilities include expanding our B2B network, securing container-level orders, and coordinating closely with our China headquarters on contracts and after-sales needs. This role combines proactive business development, contract execution, and client support, and involves frequent travel within Indonesia.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Development - Identify and visit potential furniture dealers and retailers across major cities in Indonesia to establish cooperation.
Account Management - Collect client requirements, coordinate with the China headquarters to fulfill orders, and ensure smooth communication.
Sales Process - Manage contract signing and execution, monitor local delivery arrangements within Indonesia.
After-Sales Support - Address client concerns and facilitate resolution by coordinating with our China team.
Targets - Exclusively B2B (no retail), targeting clients capable of ordering large quantities (minimum one container), with current volumes reaching 10-20 containers per month.
Future Expansion - Opportunity to open local offices and recruit additional sales staff in Jakarta and Surabaya as business grows.
Travel - Frequent travel is required, with all expenses fully covered by the company.
A Bachelors Degree in a relevant field.
At least 3 years of proven experience in B2B furniture sales, ideally with a focus on steel furniture or similar product lines.
Established network within Indonesias furniture distribution ecosystem.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Outgoing, reliable, with strong integrity and commitment, as well as ambitious, motivated to maximize earnings.
Represent a leading international furniture manufacturer with strong product demand across Southeast Asia
Work independently as a country representative, backed by a global supply chain and factory support
Travel across Indonesia, expanding partnerships and building a long-term, rewarding sales career
Develop and manage B2B client relationships with major furniture distributors and dealers
