Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and target new merchants in key industries and verticals that align with the companys strategy.

- Develop and manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing, ensuring timely follow-up and reporting on progress.

- Conduct outreach via cold calls, emails, networking events, and industry-specific channels to engage prospective merchants.

- Present and demo payment gateway solutions to potential clients, effectively communicating the value proposition and benefits.

- Negotiate and finalize contracts with new merchants, ensuring smooth onboarding and integration with our platform.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, operations) to ensure a seamless merchant onboarding process.

- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly acquisition targets and key performance metrics.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new acquisition opportunities.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with acquired merchants to foster long-term partnerships and promote upselling or cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications:

- Proven track record in B2B sales or merchant acquisition, ideally within the payment gateway, fintech, or e-commerce industry.

- Understanding of payment processing systems, online transactions, and merchant needs.

- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a consultative sales approach.

- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

- Experience working with e-commerce, retail, or SME clients.

- Familiarity with the technical integration of payment gateways.

- Fluent in English is a plus.
