Job Description
- Managing the Commercial and QS Section pertaining to the work of Quantity Surveyors, Cost Controls and Estimators.
- Overseeing and managing the finances of projects as it progresses; progress claims to customers and payment to sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Responsible for exploring new avenues of business, delivering bids and negotiating contracts.
- Resolving contractual and commercial problems.
- Assessing risk for all projects related with contractual matters; tendering, on-going and completion stage of projects amongst customers, sub-contractors and suppliers.
- To coordinate the preparation of cost analysis, quotation or tender price for new projects.
- To evaluate risks of tender conditions on contractual and costing matters for discussion.
- To review & draft sub-contractors contract.
- To review all quotations (issued/received)
- To review the preparation of progress claims to customers.
- To supervise the preparation of variation orders and final accounts to customers, sub-contractors, suppliers.
- To review of subcontractors and suppliers progress claims.
- Adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil, Structural, Commercial Management, Law, other related field.
- Business level of English
- Minimum 10 years working experience as a Commercial and Contract Manager with Main Contractor (industrial buildings, warehouses, data center, commercial buildings) or minimum 7 years as Contract Manager with Main Contractor
- Excellent client liaison and people management skill.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Extensive understanding of the construction industry.
- Sound knowledgeable of contracts and the legal framework.
- High Familiar with FIDIC
- Strong analytical, planning and organization skill.
- Well verse with various forms of construction contract.
- Attention to details.
