About Job

This role is responsible for budgeting, cost monitoring, analysis, and optimization across manufacturing operations. The Posisi partners closely with production, engineering, procurement, and finance teams to ensure cost accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Budgeting & Planning

• Prepare monthly cost forecasts and monitor variances between actual and budget.
• Analyze significant budget vs actual variances and provide detailed explanations and recommendations.

2. Cost Monitoring & Control

• Monitor all production, operational, and project-related costs to ensure compliance with the approved budget.
• Review and control purchase requests and expenditure based on budget availability.
• Supervise and verify CAPEX and OPEX project spending against cost estimation and approval.

3. Cost Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare cost reports per product, batch, or site and analyze cost behavior and trends.
• Conduct variance analysis between standard cost and actual cost to identify inefficiencies or waste.
• Provide monthly cost performance reports and savings analysis to management.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to review yield loss, downtime,and waste impact in financial terms.

4. Cost Standardization & System Control

• Develop and maintain standard cost structures for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Work closely with the Accounting team to ensure accurate cost alLokasi and posting to the correct cost centers and GL accounts.
• Improve cost reporting tools or dashboards using ERP, Excel, or BI systems for real-time monitoring.

5. Cost Saving & Efficiency Monitoring

• Monitor and track cost saving initiatives proposed by departments (e.g. material substitution, process efficiency, waste reduction).
• Maintain a “Cost Saving Tracker” to record the financial impact of each improvement.
• Validate and report actual vs planned savings achievements monthly.
• Support management in identifying new areas for efficiency improvement or cost optimization.

6. Coordination & Support

• Provide cost analysis and insight to support decision-making (pricing, make-or-buy, investment, or process improvement)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are an advantage. • Ex-Auditor KAP
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in costing, cost control, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), manufacturing finance, or related roles.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment, production plant, or supply chain operations is preferred.
• Strong exposure to variance analysis, budgeting, and cost monitoring processes.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data modeling, formulas) and data analysis.
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles, cost alLokasi methods, and standard cost setup.
• Ability to extract, interpret, and analyze large data sets accurately.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret financial data into meaningful insights.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
• Good communication and presentation skills, able to work and collaborate effectively with production, engineering, procurement, and finance teams.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
• High level of integrity and responsibility in handling financial information.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken

Bahasa language proficiency will be considered a strong advantage.
