Economics and Social Studies Teacher

Qualifications:

• Maximum age of 30 years.
• Holds a Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, Social Studies, or a related field.
• Experienced in teaching in English, both spoken and written.
• Preferably has at least 1 year of teaching experience in a school implementing the Cambridge curriculum.
• Strong teaching skills, with the ability to deliver content in an engaging and inspiring manner.
• Experienced in integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student engagement and learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Understands value-based education principles and can incorporate them into teaching practices.
• Able to collaborate effectively within a team to achieve institutional goals.
• Focused on both academic and character development of students.
• Possesses excellent classroom management skills and high discipline.
• Willing to participate in training or professional development programs organized by the institution.

Job Description:

• Teach Economics and Social Studies subjects in accordance with the applicable curriculum, especially the Cambridge Curriculum.
• Design and implement effective lesson plans to support academic achievement and character development.
• Guide students through the learning process to ensure a deep understanding of the subject matter.
• Manage classrooms effectively, creating a conducive and disciplined learning environment.
• Utilize technology to enhance teaching methods and engage students in learning.
• Participate in school activities, including parent-teacher meetings, teacher training sessions, and other school events.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments of students learning progress on a regular basis.
• Prepare student progress reports and provide constructive feedback.
• Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to support student success.
• Contribute to curriculum development and school education programs.
• Commit to continuous professional development in line with institutional standards.
