Engineering & Equipment Reliability Section Head
Requirement :
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Heavy equipment realiability within the mining, heavy industry, or manufacturing sectors.
At least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role in planning and scheduling.
Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., SAP PM, MS Project).
Strong technical knowledge of mining equipment and reliability improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in reliability analysis tools, such as FMEA, RCA, and RCM.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
Familiarity with mining equipment and maintenance practices.
Job Descriptions :
Ensure all engineering and reliability activities comply with regulatory standards, safety guidelines, and company policies.
Develop and implement strategies to improve the reliability and performance of mining equipment and assets.
Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Use reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) techniques to optimize maintenance strategies.
Provide engineering expertise to support maintenance, repair, and modification of mining equipment and systems.
Develop engineering solutions for chronic equipment issues, improving performance and reducing operational risks.
Collaborate with equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to address design flaws or optimize equipment performance.
Analyze equipment performance data and recommend improvements to maintenance practices.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability, such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
Collaborate with maintenance planners and schedulers to ensure alignment of strategies with daily operations.
