Engineering & Equipment Reliability Section Head

Requirement : 

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Heavy equipment realiability within the mining, heavy industry, or manufacturing sectors.

• At least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role in planning and scheduling.

• Proficiency in planning and scheduling software (e.g., SAP PM, MS Project).

• Strong technical knowledge of mining equipment and reliability improvement methodologies.

• Proficiency in reliability analysis tools, such as FMEA, RCA, and RCM.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.

• Familiarity with mining equipment and maintenance practices.

Job Descriptions :

• Ensure all engineering and reliability activities comply with regulatory standards, safety guidelines, and company policies.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve the reliability and performance of mining equipment and assets.

• Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

• Use reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) techniques to optimize maintenance strategies.

• Provide engineering expertise to support maintenance, repair, and modification of mining equipment and systems.

• Develop engineering solutions for chronic equipment issues, improving performance and reducing operational risks.

• Collaborate with equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to address design flaws or optimize equipment performance.

• Analyze equipment performance data and recommend improvements to maintenance practices.

• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability, such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).

• Collaborate with maintenance planners and schedulers to ensure alignment of strategies with daily operations.
