Engineering Manager - Design/Electronics

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in product development within the electronics or lighting manufacturing industry.

• At least 2 years in a managerial or project lead role.

• Proficient in design and drafting tools:

o  AutoCAD

o  Autodesk Inventor

o  CorelDRAW(Bonus: SolidWorks, Altium Designer, Adobe Illustrator)

• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, mechanical packaging, and product design for manufacturability.

• Familiarity with industrial engineering principles and production processes.

• Experience in packaging design and optimizing designs for mass production.

• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skill.

• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work under tight deadlines

  Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team across electrical, mechanical, and design disciplines.

• Oversee end-to-end product development: from concept, 3D modelling, prototyping, validation, to production launch.

• Supervise and review 2D/3D product designs, PCB layouts, and packaging using design software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and CorelDRAW.

• Ensure products meet design specifications, manufacturability standards, and compliance (e.g. SNI, CE, RoHS).

• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Procurement departments to align technical requirements with business goals.

• Review and approve technical documentation including BOM, drawings, SOPs, and test reports.

• Analyze design or production issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Manage engineering budgets, schedules, and performance KPIs.

• Stay updated with the latest trends in lighting technology and manufacturing best practices
