About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join PT Orson Indonesia as an Export Import Manager. As the Export Import Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company's import and export operations, ensuring efficient and compliant logistics. This is a full-time role based in North Jakarta, Jakarta.
What you'll be doing
Oversee and coordinate all import and export activities, including customs clearance, shipping, and documentation
Develop and implement strategies to streamline import and export processes, maximising efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards for import and export activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast and plan for import and export demands
Negotiate with logistics providers and freight forwarders to secure the best rates and service levels
Maintain accurate records and reporting on all import and export activities
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the company's import and export operations
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar export/import management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
Strong understanding of import and export regulations, customs clearance procedures, and international trade logistics
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address complex logistics challenges
Proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive informed decision-making
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics management software
Commitment to continuous improvement and optimisation of import and export operations
