Export - Import Specialist (Operation)

About the role

As an Export - Import Specialist (Operation) at PT Kuda Hitam Tech, you will play a crucial role in the companys import and export operations. In this full-time position based in Tangerang Banten, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across international borders.

What youll be doing

• Coordinating and processing all export and import documentation, including customs declarations, bills of lading, and other required paperwork

• Liaising with relevant authorities, logistics providers, and clients to ensure timely and compliant shipment of goods

• Monitoring and tracking shipments throughout the entire logistics chain, and proactively addressing any issues that may arise

• Analyzing and interpreting import/export regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements to ensure compliance

• Providing support and guidance to other team members on import/export procedures and best practices

• Continuously seeking opportunities to optimize and streamline the companys import/export operations

What were looking for

• Bachelors degree or above, preferably logistics or international trade related majors

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar export-import or logistics role, preferably within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry

• Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs clearance processes, and documentation requirements (HS Code, PERTEK etc)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various team and stakeholders

• Proficient in using relevant software and systems for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on import/export activities

• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and resolve operational challenges

• Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all work

• Able to work to deadlines, be thorough and agile as well as multitasking also willing to work under pressure

• Actively master English both spoken and written (Fluent in Mandarin is a plus)
